Journey Glass

At the end of a loved ones life we often seek ways to work through the grief and to find ways to remember them.  I developed Journey Glass for friends who have approached me over the years asking if I would help to memorialize a loved one.

Available in three colors, my use of dichroic glass creates an etherial effect.  The dichroic will also shift and change color slightly in the light, a property unique to this material, which was originally designed for the Apollo moon program.  Dichroic will not change color (except as it shifts relative to the light source) nor will it ever fade.   Four colors are currently available in silver, gold, teal green and blue (not pictured).  More colors may become available in the future. They are also available in both a sphere shape and an egg shape.  Simply indicate which pieces and colors you want in what shapes when ordering in the “instructions box” when you get to the cart. These pieces can also be displayed on a light box. If you would like to know good sources for these I am happy to provide you with some links online and I usually stock them and can provide them to you directly if you would like.

We sell direct to the public with these items, so there is no vendor mark-up, but you are assured of the same quality and attention to craftsmanship with all of my other glass work.  Pricing is $65.00 for a single 3.5 inch clear sphere or egg, with any additional pieces ordered at the same time are $45.00 for each additional piece.

To order, contact us for our safe shipping packet which we will send to you if ordering online.  Orders typically take between 10 days to two weeks to complete depending on the size of the order.  Upon completion of your order, the remaining ash will be returned to you when your order ships. Normally for most orders only a teaspoon worth of ash is necessary.
